Tuesday, August 16th is National Rum Day and Giant Texas Distillers is making it a full week celebration!!! We’ll be having specials with our partner Spirit our Gregarious Grump!
Born from the by-product of sugar production, molasses was first distilled into Rum in the 17th Century. Since then Rum has become the 3rd most popular Spirit in the United States, behind Vodka and Whiskey. One can’t help, but imagine pirates of old out at sea with a grog of rum in hand or sunny sand and waves with beachgoers holding a fruity, citrusy, bright, and cool blended cocktails made with rum!
So come and enjoy this fun and funky spirit at our Giant Texas Tasting Room.
